War Games are for Men!   
 “War games are wrong!”  The woman at the table exclaimed.  She and her boyfriend had been arguing for some time about it, however it just now was catching Cy’s attention.  “They’re bloody and violent and down right rude!”   “They’ve managed to wipe out war as we know it,” The man said.   “So?  People still die!”   She was really becoming unglued.  Cy watched them with a slight smirk on his face.   “Not as many as there used to be.  Thousands of men and women used to die,

"Yes,"  He agreed.  They both stared out the window, through the iron bars, at the trees encased in ice and the the snow crusted on the ground.  Frozen clouds blanked the sky and made the daylight dim and gray.

"Good luck then,"  He said not bothering to wave as he left her room.   
In the hall students screamed and ran.  They cackled like madmen and threw books.  They beat each other and groped lewdly.

WIP Halloween StoryThe scream was hard to ignore, that shriek that shredded the night and clung like the humidity of an approaching storm.  The high-pitched cry grabbed onto his very soul.  Horror and fear filled the child's death cry.   He staggered towards the cry.  The need to help didn’t motivate him, just the natural curiosity that all humans had at death.  He pulled a ragged army jacket closed while he stumbled in boots that were too small for his feet.  He wiped his crusty nose on threadbare fingerless gloves and fought down the instinct that kept telling him to ignore the scream and run.&n WIP Halloween Story
